Sun Siyam Olhuveli Maldives underwent some changes that have made the industry a double-take. On March 1st 2025, the resort introduced the addition of the Maldives Longest Pool coming in at 210 metres and another pool with a length of 131 metres, along with the revamping of their Deluxe Rooms into Beach Pavilions and Sunset Beach Pavilions.
The Beach Pavilions (40 units) and Sunset Beach Pavilions (60 units) have sunrise and sunset views respectively, facing the ocean right along the beach. The Pavilions have been aesthetically changed to include marble tile bathrooms, a modern colour palette, natural linens and a seamless open-plan concept in order to emphasize luxury and opulence. Subtle design choices and gentle lighting brings about a feeling of being at home, adding a calmness you didn’t know you needed. 50 Pavilions from each category that are located on the ground floor are interconnected along with having twin bed options, making it perfect for the travelling family. 50 Pavilions from each category that are on the second floor have king sized beds, perfect for couples and honeymooners.
The 210 metre pool, located in front of the Sunset Beach Pavilions, is flanked by the 131 metre pool, located in front of the Beach Pavilions, meant to offer even more space for swimming and relaxation and is also located along the beach facing the sunrise. Both pools can be enjoyed by any guest at Sun Siyam Olhuveli, regardless of whether they’re staying at the Beach Pavilion, the Sunset Beach Pavilion, etc. The 210 metre pool also has a sunken pool bar, adding to the vacation atmosphere.
