The Landmark Design Competition has been reopened by the Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC/Visit Maldives). This program gives budding local artists a stage on which to display their artistic abilities.
To promote maximum participation, the Landmark Design Competition has been reopened with an extended deadline, allowing artists more time to think over and submit their designs. On 17th February 2025 at 2:00 PM, MMPRC will have an information session to assist attendees and answer their questions. The workshop will include comprehensive information about the competition’s goals, judging standards, and submission procedure and will be available both in-person and online.
Interested parties must email [email protected] with their name, national ID card information, address, phone number, and email address by 15th February 2025 at 6 PM, in order to register for the information session. Designs must be submitted by 28th February 2025 at 6 PM.
MMPRC seeks designs that capture the spirit of the Maldives, emphasizing its vibrant culture, rich history, and breathtaking natural beauty. The winning designs will be shown in famous places around the nation, such as Male’ City, Velana International Airport, underwater spots, and picturesque islands outside of the Greater Male’ area.
