As part of its Global Month of Service program, Alila Kothaifaru Maldives, which is a part of the Hyatt family, recently wrapped off an incredibly successful blood donation campaign. The event, which was organized in conjunction with the Madhuvaree Health Center and Maldives Blood Service, received outstanding support from the Alila Kothaifaru Maldives staff, demonstrating the resort’s strong dedication to the welfare of the local community.
As the centerpiece of Alila Kothaifaru Maldives’ Global Month of Service, the blood drive with the slogan, “Donate Blood, Save a Life”, attempted to exemplify Hyatt’s basic principles of compassion and care. The staff at the resort showed their commitment to having a good influence outside of the resort’s gorgeous island setting by banding together for this admirable cause.
Alila Kothaifaru Maldives’ general manager, Mr. Thomas Weber, expressed his opinions on the initiative’s importance by saying, “As part of the Hyatt family, we recognize the importance of giving back to the communities we serve. The overwhelming response to our blood donation campaign reaffirms our belief in the power of collective action to effect meaningful change.” Mr. Thomas Weber’s personal participation, in which he gave blood, highlights the leadership’s active attitude to community engagement and generosity.
The blood donation drive at Alila Kothaifaru Maldives is a prime example of Hyatt’s dedication to CSR and highlights the company’s goal of improving society. By means of such projects, the resort upholds Hyatt’s history of caring and service, therefore improving the lives of those who are less fortunate. Splendid Asia applauds there dedication and all future events to come.
