The second edition of MATI Insight, presented by the Maldives Association of Tourism Industry (MATI), included a strategy masterclass taught by Mark Pollard called “Sweathead Masterclass: Strategy is Your Words”. More than 75 people attended the session, which took place at the Crossroads Maldives Event Hall on 17th November, 2024.
Through real-world application, the program aimed to improve participants’ strategic and planning skills. The Four Points Framework, created by Mark Pollard, which provides an organized method for creating successful plans, was at the center of the discussion. Participants received instruction on how to recognize important discoveries, turn them into workable plans, and successfully convey them. In addition to offering guidance on crafting effective creative briefs, the masterclass emphasized the significance of accurate language in promoting brand success. Participants used the Four Points Framework to create their own brand strategies through more than 10 interactive exercises.

Prior to this, Pollard oversaw strategy teams at Big Spaceship, Leo Burnett, and McCann. In addition, he has contributed to the Australian Account Planning Group (APG) committee and judged the Jay Chiat Awards and Webbys.
