Rate Rules (applicable for all Villa types)

All rates are quoted in US Dollar per villa per night including breakfast and include service charge allocation and government tourism goods. However subject to government bed tax USD. 8.00 per person per night

Any increase in bed tax or any other new tax would be charged to the tour operator.

Government taxes, fees & charges change from time to time and Hilton Worldwide reserves the right to add these on, effective from date of implementation.

Guests staying between 28 Dec 2012 and 09 Jan 2013 (incl.) must stay a minimum of 5 nights.

From 24 Dec 2012 to 23 Dec 2013, 10% Service Charge fee plus GST will be charged on any additional services not already shown in this contract.

Definitions: Infant = below to 2 years old, Child = Age 2 to 11 years and Adult = Age 12 years old & over.

Infant cots are supplied free of charge and must be booked in advance. Infant Bed Tax (currently USD 8.00 per night) will be added to the Tour Operator invoice.

FAMILY OFFER Children Stay, Play and Eat for free

1. Children must be under the age of 12 while staying at the resort. Children aged 12 and over are charged at the usual contract rates.

2. This offer is only applicable for bookings in Beach Villa, Deluxe Beach Villa, Sunrise Deluxe Beach Villa and Deluxe Beach Villa with pool and Pool Beach Villa categories.

3. USD 8.00 per person per night government bed tax to apply.

4. Complimentary accommodation is offered to a maximum of two children (Beach Villa, Deluxe Beach Villa, Sunrise Deluxe Beach Villa and Deluxe Beach Villa with Pool) or of a maximum of three children (Beach Pool Villa) under 12, while sharing the adult room.

5. Children under 12 years old will eat for free from the Iru Restaurant buffet or kids menu, when accompanied by a paying adult.

6. Children under 12 years old will receive a 75% discount off all normal a la carte menu items (excluding children s menu).

7. Beverages are excluded.

8. Special events, room service and private dining are not included in the offer.

9. Free access to the Kids Club.

Meal Plan Supplements (applicable for all Villa types)

Half Board and Full-Board credit applies for dinner only.

Full-Board lunch applies to the following restaurants with a set menu or a choice of a maximum of three dishes per person: Fluid Bar,

Reflections Bar, Bamboo, Islanders Grill and Trio.

Guests on Half-board and Full-board can enjoy daily dinner buffet at Iru restaurant or dinner at one of the following a la carte restaurants with a fixed credit: Flavours, Trio, Islander Grill and Bamboo.

Credit amount for A la Carte restaurants dinner: US $ 68 from 24 Dec 2013 to 11 May 2014 and 01 Nov 2014 to 23 Dec 2014

Hidden Retreat/Aqua Retreat/Celebrity Retreat Booking Procedures and Conditions

1. The Hidden Retreat/Aqua Retreat/Celebrity Retreat rates on page 1 are valid for 4 guests (adults or children).

2. 90 days prior to arrival, a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the accommodation charge is required.

3. For all bookings made within 90 days of arrival, a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the accommodation charge must be received within 72hrs.

4. 30 days prior to arrival, a full non-refundable prepayment of remaining accommodation charge is required.

5. For all bookings made within 30 days of arrival, a non-refundable deposit of 100% of the accommodation charge must be received within 72hrs.

6. The above procedures and conditions apply for all operators, on prepayment or credit.

Villa Occupancy Rules

1. Beach Villas, Deluxe Beach Villas, Sunrise Deluxe Beach Villas, Deluxe Beach Villas with Pool, Water Villas, Horizon Water Villas,

1. Sunset Horizon Water Villas: maximum occupancy of 3 adults (incl 1 extra bed) or 2 adults and 2 children (incl 2 extra beds).

2. Pool Beach Villas and Infinity Water Villas: maximum occupancy of 4 adults (incl 2 extra beds) or 2 adults and 3 children (incl 3 extra beds).

3. Hidden Retreat and Aqua Retreat (2 bedroom villas): maximum occupancy of 4 adults + 2 extra beds for adults or children (6 guests: adults or children).

4. Celebrity Retreat (3 bedroom villa): maximum occupancy of 6 adults + 4 extra beds for adults or children (10 guests: adults or children).

5. Children below 12 are not recommended in any of the water villa categories for safety reasons Disclaimer will be required and if granted.

6. Guests 12 years and over will be charged at adult room & meal rates.

7. Reflections Pool & Bar (with ocean view) is opened to guests aged 16 and above. Fluid Pool (in the middle of the island) is opened to all guests.

Check In / Check Out / Pre-registration / Late Check Out

1. Check In Time: 2pm (1400hrs) Check Out Time: 12 noon (1200 hrs).

2. Where possible, early morning arrivals may be able to check in prior to 2pm (1400hrs) and this is subject to availability. However, to guarantee an early check in, pre-registration of previous night s accommodation is required.

3. Late check-out is 50% of villa charge up to 2pm and 100% of villa charge afterwards and is subject to availability.

Scenic Seaplane Transfers

Guests will be met upon arrival by our airport hosts just outside the arrival hall.

All guests will have access to lounge facility at the seaplane terminal.

1. Private seaplane transfer - USD 3300.00 one way, inclusive of GST. Maximum 12 people per journey.

Rates are subject to change and therefore need to be reconfirmed with the resort.

2. Baggage allowance is 25Kg and 5kg hand luggage.

3. Any excess baggage is chargeable and will have to be paid directly to the Seaplane company at USD 5.00 per 1 KG.

4. The hotel must receive full flight details at least 7 days prior to the arrival in order to guarantee the seaplane seats. Failure to do so may result in additional waiting time in the The hotel Lounge or overnight in Mal at the clients additional cost.

5. All guests have access to the Lounge located at the Seaplane Terminal on arrival. Every effort will be made to transfer the guest to the resort within 2 hrs of arriving at the Lounge.

6. Departing guests will be transferred to the airport at least 3 hours in advance of the scheduled departure time of the international flight.

7. At the time of writing this contract, airport transfer via seaplane is available during daylight hours only. Any change to this will be communicated along with any change to conditions

8. Guests arriving on international flights will be required to check in at the TMA seaplane counter in the international arrivals terminal before 16.00hrs in order to be able to transfer to the resort on the same day or they will require overnight accommodation in Mal and will be transferred to the resort the following morning.

9. Guests departing Mal on an international flight prior to 0900hrs will be transferred late the previous afternoon. Accommodation can be booked in Mal .

10. Mal accommodation options can be booked by The hotel and are at additional cost.

11. Seaplane rates are subject to increase if fuel surcharge or any other new tax is imposed.

12. Return seaplane transfers will automatically be booked with the resort at the time of booking, unless other instructions are explicitly stated in the booking request.

13. For avoidance of doubt, Hotel s Cancellation/No Show policies shall apply even if guests with confirmed reservations are unable to access or otherwise arrive at the Hotel on their scheduled arrival day, where such inability is due to cancelled, delayed or missed seaplane transfers to the Hotel due to bad weather conditions or any other reasons. The Company agrees that it is foreseeable that the Hotel may not be accessible to guests attempting to arrive from time to time for the reasons described in this clause, therefore the guests inability to arrive as scheduled does not qualify as a force majeure event. The Company shall be responsible for informing all prospective guests of this aspect of the Hotel s cancellation / no-show policy and that all guests are responsible for payment of alternative temporary accommodations. In this regard, Company is primarily responsible for assisting displaced / distressed guests with making arrangements for alternative accommodation, whether such affected guests are on Male or elsewhere. While the Hotel will not refund or otherwise waive no-show / cancellation charges in the event that the guest cannot arrive at the Hotel as scheduled for any reason outside of the control of the Hotel, upon request by the Company or the displaced / distressed guest, the Hotel will provide commercially reasonable efforts to assist the Company and the distressed / displaced guests with making temporary hotel accommodations, until such affected guests are able to arrive at the Hotel for the remainder of their scheduled stay.

Day Use of the Resort luxury seaplane lounge

The seaplane lounge is the only lounge in the Maldives that remains open in the evening. Guests who have flights departing late in the evening can book access to the lounge from 5pm onwards, thereby avoiding the necessity of reserving day-use rooms in nearby hotels.

Rates for using the lounge in the evening are US$80 per person for adults and US$40 per child under the age of 12 subject to 10% Service charge and GST.

This rate includes use of all the lounge facilities, shower facilities, light buffet dinner and soft drinks.

o All bookings are to be pre-paid within 7 days of booking confirmation. However, in the event of the last-minute bookings that have less than 7 days to arrival date, payment deadline will be decided by the Reservations Managers. In order avoid cancellation of the confirmed bookings, it is advisable to make pre-payment applying the room rates in clause 7, board supplements and transfer charges, etc., without waiting for pro-forma invoice from the Hotel.

o Any booking for which full payment is not received by the deadline may be cancelled without prior notice.

o All payments shall be made to Splendid Asia Pvt Ltd. office or via telegraphic transfer (TT) to the below given bank account identifying the invoices for which the payment is made.

o The Agent shall bear all the remittance charges involved at his end or charges of corresponding banks of outside Maldives. The Hotel will bear only the local bank s charges. Remittances from outside Male the Agent shall add USD 30 to each remittance to cover cost of intermediary bank s commission.

OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS

o In the event of tax alterations by the government, during the validity of this rate sheet, Splendid Asia reserves the absolute right to collect the revised tax without prior notice. Thus, the increased amount shall be borne by the Agent.

o Contracted rates are applicable on the Tour Operator s company account only. Should the guest be paying on his/her own account, regular published rates will be applied.

o Net rates must not be exposed in any tariff listing.

The Agent shall abide by above terms and conditions. All disputes arising hereof, or any doubts in the interpretation of this terms and conditions shall be settled mutually, with sincere negotiations, failing such disputes will be settled under an appropriate Court of Law in the Maldives.
