| Angria Bank
|
|
Angria Bank is a world renowned diving site, located just 120 miles from Goa. It can be reached easily through a 4 hour boat ride. The underwaters here offers a wealth of amazing coral formations and a vast varities of fish. A "live-aboard" is available with the local dive center to make diving at this site an unforgettable experience.

|
The Bardez taluka has a number of resorts and hotels. Mapusa is the main centre of the population in the northern provinces of Goa. There's not much to see in Mapusa, though the Friday market is worth a visit.

Located at a distance of about 35 km from Panaji, Bicholim came into notice because of it's mining opportunities. There are several famous temples located in it's suburban areas.
